The association collaborates with the conclusions by giving an international expert perspective

Amnistia i Llibertat (Amnesty and Freedom), an organisation created to watch over and protect human rights in Catalonia, and to put an end to repression and persecution against independence, organises the II Congress of Advocacy for the Defence of Civil and Political Rights on April 1st.

The Congress wants to be a space for meeting, training, and debate for all those who practice law, who are academics or who have an interest in the matter, and it aims to be a space to strengthen the commitment to the anti-repressive struggle and the defence of amnesty. On this occasion topics such as the United Nations Human Rights Council, the reform of the Penal Code or espionage in the independence movement are discussed.

In its task to empower civil society and help organisations which are ready to raise awareness of their cause, Sine Qua Non contributes to the II Congress of Advocacy for the Defence of Civil and Political Rights by participating as a member of the scientific committee of the Congress. As a result of its expertise in the international field, Sine Qua Non brings an international perspective to the conclusions.
