Sine Qua Non has been accepted as a member of the Global Democracy Coalition (GDC), a multi-stakeholder strategic alliance established in 2021. The GDC’s objective is to bring together organizations dedicated to advancing democracy, and to influence the Democracy Summits and the Year of Action through the creation of both Regional and General forums. The coalition currently comprises over 120 democratic organizations from around the globe, all of which are dedicated to the promotion and safeguarding of democracy on a global scale.
The network created by the GDC enables its members to share information on democratic innovations and best practices, identify opportunities for collaboration, and better coordinate their efforts to strengthen democracy more broadly. The Coalition amplifies the voice of partner organizations through collective action.
By joining the GDC, Sine Qua Non deepens its mission to share and exchange knowledge and experiences, and gains the opportunity to participate directly in a platform for dialogue and advocacy. Additionally, it gains access to a network of organizations from around the world, enabling it to work collectively on both strategic issues relevant to the global democracy agenda and in areas that affect more concrete but equally significant issues..
